where i am

i have recently moved to a condo that has 18 windows overlooking a beautiful river that lulls me to sleep at night and the sun rising through the trees awakens me. the birds soar in and out of the clouds. at night the stars twinkle and i can see the outline of the tree tops on my wall.

i will soon be in this space alone as my youngest child heads off to college.

i would like to find a lover, but it will have to be a special person that shares this new sacred space with me, even momentarily. i am done with the casual stuff. true passion flows from intimate knowledge, shared vision, risk-taking behaviors, and a willingness to soar, not tiptoe through life.

i guess that is what is tough at my age- to find a man that will risk, after all, we have all been burned or we wouldn't be single.

life will be interesting, no matter what, and every day i have this beautiful space to be in- i am happy here.

READY FOR A CHANGE

Much about my life is changing, where I live, who I live with, so I am changing my blogging place too. There are too many people who read me without interacting and they are known to me. I feel like they are checking on me, so I want to write where they don't know where I am.

I hope to start having an active social life and feel it would be good to be able to vent, rant, praise, question what is happening without these men being able to read about it, or them.

That is why I am here and I hope to meet other bloggers and find out why they are here.
